Focusing on intelligent manufacturing, China's construction machinery industry has achieved steady growth

While auto production and sales declined for 15 consecutive months on a year-on-year basis and the machinery industry barely maintained a steady trend, the construction machinery industry was "one of the best", with the sales growth rate returning to double digits for three consecutive months since July. The industry's demand resilience and prosperity continued to exceed expectations.
According to the China construction machinery industry association, the sales volume of excavators in September was 15,799 units, up 17.8% year on year. The sales volume of excavators in the domestic market was 13,182 units, up 12.5% year on year, and the export volume was 2,617 units, up 54.9% year on year. From January to September, it has sold 179,000 units, up 14.7% year on year. The industry's annual sales volume is expected to hit 230,000 units.
The reasons for the strength of construction machinery are mainly due to the improvement of market demand and the growth of industrial sales driven by the reasonably ample domestic liquidity, accelerated issuance of local special bonds, more infrastructure projects, strong real estate resilience, replacement of machinery, stricter environmental protection and upgrading.
